3 balls

Yesterday I got my first lesson to learn how to juggle, thanks to l'Amie de Lucie...
So that's one thing done, on all my list of things "to do, to learn, to experience etc."...
Thank youuuuuuuuuu. You rock.

Now I just have to train, train, train, and one day, one day I'll succeed to juggle decently (now it's rather comical).

5 more photos of Eindhoven

Rat (plastic) jewellery... Hmmmm... (I'm sorry I didn't keep the name of the designer... if anyone knows...):

Aaaaaaah when non-automotive designers have "automotive" dreams... so romantic... loved the pattern for the wheels...

Aaaah in this case I'm really upset I don't have the name of the designer(s). The concept is a ceramic tile that is punched (a bit like stamps) so you can separate the pieces and customize them to make (really nice) jewellery:

And here is my colleague, exhausted after a day of walking all over the city ;-)
(these big size cushions were in a corner of the Strijp S exhibition, a lot of fun. I never really was interested to get one, but to get 10 of them would be cool)

My DDW

10 days ago I visited the Dutch Design Week events (for work) in Eindhoven. It was a medium sunny day, yet dry, but cold, and I really really liked Eindhoven, as a city. The fact that the Design HQ of Philips and the amazing Design Academy Eindhoven is located there is a bonus, but the city itself was quite appealing.

Here are a few photos:

This is a small street of Eindhoven, almost in the centre of the centre of the city :-)

A cup of tea (study by graduate of Design Academy Eindhoven) - check out www.ivanaborovnjak.com/ :

The "dynamo" building in the centre, near the "design street":

The "Strijp S", an old factory of Philips, more or less in "reconstruction", where some other part of the exhibitions were happening:

More to come... but blogger is preventing me to post the 5 other photos, sorry.

4 days just here

I don' remember when was the last time I stayed in Brussels for several days in a row (I mean, more than a regular weekend). I think it was Christmas 2005, when I was completely stuck due to my back. But this time, I'm healthy. I was just tired so I decided that finally no long weekend abroad would work. I would just stay home, take time to see my friends, take time to do nothing, take time to sort out things.
Of course I haven't done half of what I wanted, but I'm happy and rather relaxed.
Hope you had a nice long weekend too.
